高中学历要求
要获得入学资格，学生必须在五个传统学科领域(文学、数学、物理和生物科学、社会科学和外语)完成至少16个学分的高中课程，包括以下要求:
英语4学分
至少四门AP课程(两门代数，一门几何和一门以代数II为先决条件的高等数学课程)*
一门外语至少2学分-请注意，美国手语满足这一要求。
科学三个学分，包括生命或生物科学至少一个学分和物理科学至少一个学分，并包括至少一个实验课程

英语语言要求
国际申请人的母语不是英语的人必须提供托福、雅思或PTE成绩。有竞争力的申请人通常托福成绩100或更高, 雅思7.0或更高，或PTE 68或更高。
申请截止时间
提前行动: 10月15日前申请，在一月底前得到录取决定。
常规申请: 1月15日前申请，3月底得到录取决定。
所有希望申请奖学金的学生应在3月1日前提交联邦学生资助免费申请表FAFSA和 CSS Profile资料。
申请方式
通过Common Application 或者Coalition Application提交在线申请。只要搜索“北卡罗来纳大学教堂山分校”就可以开始了。
在线申请和申请费必须在截止日期前提交。
学校只能接受一种申请，如果学生提交了一份申请，并且有重要的更新信息要与学校分享，应将更新信息发送到uncsubmit@admissions.unc.edu，而不是提交第二份申请。

申请材料
1. 一篇Essay+两个简短的答案。
Essay(250-650字)和简短的回答(200-250字)。论文和简短的回答是学校审查的关键部分，不仅用来审核学生入学，而且用于基于成绩的奖学金，如荣誉卡罗莱纳。
2. 官方成绩单。
学校辅导员代表学生提交一份成绩单。成绩单应为正式副本，以邮寄或安全电子方式送达
3. 中学的声明。
学校辅导员将代表学生提交。这些信息帮助学校了解申请人的高中和课程。
4. SAT或ACT分数。
大一申请者必须提交SAT或ACT; 写作部分不再被要求，也不再被推荐。成绩应由考试服务中心直接邮寄。SAT代码是5816,ACT代码是3162。我们可以将11月的考试成绩作为提前行动的依据，将12月的考试成绩作为常规申请的依据。提前行动务必在11月1日之前将考试成绩寄来，常规申请在2月13日之前将成绩寄来。
5. 推荐信。
附上一封来自曾在某个核心学术领域教过你的老师的推荐信。老师应该代表学生提交这封信。选择一个非常了解你的人，并且可以描述你的学术潜力和独特的个人品质。
国际课程学分换算
学校建议学生充分利用学校提供的高级课程，对大多数学生来说，这意味着参加AP、IB或双注册课程，在高中修过这类课程的学生在大学里表现最好。学校不规定这些课程的数量或类型，希望学生在学业上挑战自我，同时也能在课外有时间追求自己的兴趣和生活。
北卡罗来纳大学教堂山分校对完成AP，IB，A-level的学生授予学分。
学生必须向适当的考试服务机构申请他们的正式考试结果，才能被考虑授予学分或免修。
