康奈尔大学的学生有较高的国际化程度，该校重视学生的求学经历。
标准化考试成绩要求

康奈尔要求所有的国际学生的标准化考试成绩达到一定水平。申请学生须提交SAT或ACT考试成绩， IB, A-levels等国际课程考试成绩不可替代SAT或ACT考试成绩，但可作为SAT或ACT的补充。该校各学院将根据院系具体要求进行录取和选拔。（经查，本科阶段各学院一般对SAT或ACT成绩不做具体要求，实行综合录取原则）

注：

康奈尔大学对国际课程的建议
康奈尔大学要求申请该校的学生递交至少（前）三年的高中成绩单（各科），申请人也需提交其大学先修课程Advanced Placement，国际课程International Baccalaureate 和A-Level成绩。（如有）如申请人有即将参加的考试，请提前告知其高中辅导员将预测分数添加到成绩单报告中。
申请人在进入康奈尔各学院本科阶段的学习前，可通过AP等课程的考试提前修得本科阶段的学分。这个政策旨在学生能够越过初级课程的学习，而尽可能多地学习高级课程的内容。
但需要注意的是AP等课程考试成绩的学分转换应参考各院系各自的决定。本科阶段的申请人应递交所有在CEEB Advanced Placement Examinations中取得的成绩，此成绩须经由申请人的高中发至康奈尔大学。康奈尔大学的CEEB Advanced Placement Examinations编码是2098。
